Frequently asked questions
Is the Bible widget really free?
Yes. Downloading Bible Widget is free, and every widget size is included for free: the Lock Screen widgets and the small, medium and large Home Screen widgets. Your daily verse keeps coming without paying anything, and there are no ads.
Do I have to start a trial to use the free Bible widget?
No. During setup the app offers a 3-day Premium trial, but you can close that screen and keep using everything that's free, including all the widgets.
Are there ads in the free version?
No. There are no ads in Bible Widget, free or Premium, and no advertising identifiers or tracking across other apps.
Which styles are free?
Ink (light text on near-black) and Paper (dark text on warm white) are free, in the app and on your widgets. The other 38 styles, your own photo and animated backgrounds come with Premium.
What happens when a Premium trial ends?
If you start a trial and don't continue, Premium features switch off and everything in the free version keeps working, including your widgets and daily verse.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up. All 638 verses are on your iPhone, so the free widget also works offline.
